What is DynaWave?

DynaWave, MagTek’s NFC module, allows you to add NFC, near-field communication, contactless transactions to your payment solution. NFC allows for faster payments with a quick tap for transaction processing. Whether you need to accept D-PAS^®, PayPass^™, payWave^®, ExpressPay^®, Apple Pay^®, Android Pay^® or any other bank mobile application that supports contactless, DynaWave is ready.

Applications

Accept contactless payments in almost any environment. DynaWave is a perfect fit for contactless payment environments including mobile point of sale applications, point of transaction kiosks, and unattended payment terminals. DynaWave also works great in other NFC contactless environments including electronic identity locations, key cards and fobs.

Security

Our NFC module uses 3DES encryption coupled with DUKPT (Derived Unique Key per Transaction) key management to secure your transaction data. DynaWave is tamper evident and tamper resistant and meets stringent security protocols.

Integration

Designed for easier development efforts, DynaWave supports both USB and UART connection. Developers can choose between one or the other depending on the application need. Contact a representative to find the best fit for your application and to request the software developer kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).

NFC contactless works with mobile wallets and adheres to ISO/IEC 18092, ISO/IEC 14443 | (Type A, Type B) C-1/ C-6/C-7.

Ready for mobile payment terminals

Also available is mDynamo offering EMV chip and magstripe functionality. Connecting via USB with two optional auxiliary ports (SPI and UART) mDynamo gives users the flexibility to add magstripe, chip and contactless (with DynaWave) in a compact, modular design.
